Weavings is a staffing agency offering dedicated human resource services like contract, permanent and blue-collar staffing. In addition, they offer payroll processing and compliance services for companies from various industries across India.
The Objective
To boost visibility, engagement, and leads from their website, Weavings set the following objectives:
- Increase organic sessions and traffic by bolstering rankings
- Generate more leads by reaching target audiences
- Improve search engine rankings by optimising content with keywords
- Boost website speed to improve user experience
- Ensure page indexing through the Google Search Console
The Challenge
While attempting to reach its objectives, Weavings did encounter a few challenges such as the following:
- No website optimisation as content lacked targeted keywords
- Low ranking for non-branded keywords
- Inadequate traffic from poor rankings and website optimisation
- Poor user experiences due to website technical issues
- Low user count from lack of page indexing
These activities were crucial as we found that the website was not optimised, and traffic was low due to low rankings.
The Solution
Considering the challenges at hand, a customised strategy was necessary to improve website optimisation, increase ranking, and boost website traffic. Our SEO strategy involved the following activities:
On-page SEO: through research, we collected trending topics, curated unique blog content using relevant keywords and executed an aggressive blogging strategy to boost organic traffic through this content.
Technical SEO: we improved technical SEO by updating the Robots.txt file, optimising the XML Sitemap, fixing 404 errors, and Breadcrumb Optimization, improving the technical SEO health score.
New Page Creation with Hyper-Local Keywords: to attract audiences from specific areas, we developed new local service pages optimised with hyper-local keywords to attract targeted regional traffic.
Off-page SEO: we consistently performed article submissions on relevant reputable third-party websites, shareable social bookmarks, and Q&A submissions to generate high-quality backlinks for the Weavings website.
Content Gap Analysis: through research, we identified intent-based keywords. It included them in our strategy by optimising the Meta Title, Description, Header Tags, and Above the Fold content with these keywords.
Website Auditing: performing a website audit allowed us to ensure mobile friendliness, and correct website issues to boost page loading speed and responsiveness.
The Result
Implementation of our strategy involved activities like optimising content, fixing technical issues, indexing, and creating targeted keyword-specific web pages.
Total impressions and total clicks also increased and almost doubled. These were crucial in helping Weavings increase traffic and achieve its goals.
